Working with Taylor

Hey, I'm Taylor

the girl behind the camera.

I’m a coffee-loving, animal-obsessed photographer doing life with my husband, our three dogs, two cats, chickens, ducks, and whatever animal I can probably convince him we need next. 😂

We’ve both always dreamed of having a bunch of land, horses in the pasture, way too many animals, and a driveway so long you can’t even see the house from the road. We’re not there quite yet, but we’re working toward it together.

My husband is my best friend, the one who keeps me grounded, and the person who somehow keeps up with the approximately 47 ideas I have going at any given time. Our life isn’t fancy or perfectly put together, but it’s ours, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I think that’s a big part of why I photograph people the way I do. I’m drawn to the real stuff—the personalities, the relationships, the belly laughs, the animals that refuse to cooperate, and all those little moments happening when nobody is trying to make something picture-perfect.

Because at the end of the day, those are the parts of life I’d want to remember, too.

Usually covered in dog hair and dreaming about more land.

A little wild. A whole lot of love.

Because the moments worth keeping rarely happen when everyone is looking at the camera.

I don’t want your session to feel like you got dressed up, went to a pretty field, and posed for an hour. I want it to feel like your life—the laughing, the chaos, the personalities, the people you love, and all the little things that make this season yours.

I’ll guide you when you need me, but I’m just as likely to be sitting on the ground making your kids laugh, giving your horse a minute to do their own thing, or talking with your family until everyone forgets we’re supposed to be taking pictures. For a little while, I get to step into your world, become part of the crew, and let things unfold the way they naturally do.

Because the photographs you’ll treasure most aren’t always the ones we planned. They’re your baby reaching for you. The belly laugh nobody could fake. Your horse leaning into you. The way your person looks at you when neither of you realizes I’m watching.

Whether it’s your family, your senior year, the animals you’ve built your life around, or your wedding day, I want you to recognize your life when you look through your photographs. Not a perfectly posed version of it. Not who you were for the camera. Just you and your people, exactly as you are right now.

Because years from now, I don’t just want you to remember what this season looked like.

I want you to remember exactly how it felt.

FAQ

01. What types of sessions do you photograph?

From families and couples to seniors, equestrian portraits, milestones, and weddings—I photograph the seasons of life you’ll want to remember long after they’ve passed.

Not sure exactly what your session falls under? Reach out and tell me what you have in mind.

02. “What if I’m awkward in front of the camera?”

Same 😅

But I promise I’ll guide you the whole way.

I’ll guide you throughout your session with a mix of natural movement, simple direction, and lightly posed moments so your photos feel polished without feeling stiff or overly posed.

03. “What should I wear?”

Once you’re booked, I’ll help you plan outfits that photograph beautifully and work well with your location, season, and overall vision.

For families and couples, I typically recommend coordinating rather than perfectly matching. For seniors and individual portraits, we can choose pieces that feel the most like you.

04. “When will I get my photos?”

Portrait galleries are typically delivered within two weeks, with sneak peeks within 48 hours.

Wedding galleries have a separate delivery timeline based on your collection and will be outlined in your wedding agreement.

Your finished images will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can easily view, download, share, and order prints.

05. “Where will our session take place?”

We’ll choose your location together based on the look and feel you want for your photos.

That might mean an open field at golden hour, your family property, the barn with your horses, a downtown setting, or somewhere that already holds meaning for you.

06. “Do you ever offer mini sessions?”

I do—but only a few times throughout the year.

Mini sessions are reserved for select seasonal or styled events and are announced as they become available. Because they’re offered in limited time slots, they tend to book quickly.

For more flexibility with your location, date, outfits, and overall experience, a full portrait session is always the best option.

07. “Can we include our pets or horses?”

Absolutely. They’re family too.

Dogs, horses, and other animals are always welcome when the location allows. Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan your session around them and make the experience as smooth as possible.

08. “How far in advance should we book?”

The earlier, the better, especially for fall sessions, senior season, and weddings.

Portrait dates are limited throughout the year, and weddings are booked much further in advance. If you already have a specific season or date in mind, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible.
